I love taking pictures, I can’t imagine doing anything else! Photography is a passion...
I was born and raised by loving parents, Carole & Larry Huck in and around Elyria, OH. I went to Open Door Chistian School and graduated somewhere in my class in 1983. My love for photography started in high school. After HS, I pursued photography by taking classes and working at a photo studio. Honestly, that did not work out so well. I decided with guidance from friends and family that if I was serious about photography, I needed to “STUDY” photography. In December of 1987, I received a degree in Commercial Applied Photography from Ohio Institute of Photography. Today I work fulltime at Cedarville University as University Photographer, I’ve been at Cedarville for 15 years and counting. Working at Cedarville has given me the opportunity to travel the world as well as many wonderful cities around the US. I love to travel!
I shoot an average of 10 weddings a year, including babies, engagements, and families throughout the year. I love shooting weddings. I love the details that go into a wedding & I like capturing those moments. I approach weddings with a kind of laid back approach, as wedding days have enough anxiety and stress. I am there to capture the moments without being obtrusive or demanding.
I feel blessed with a talent that God has given to me and I can share with others. Col. 3:17 says, “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all for the glory of God.” That is powerful. It’s not Sunday morning, but I could get started.
I’ve been married to my gorgeous wife Roxy, for 16 years and we have two beautiful girls, Abby & Emily.
